Microsoft 365 Copilot is a feature that helps users work more creatively, efficiently and confidently by combining data from the Large Language Model (LLM) and Microsoft Graph. Copilot integrates with your Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and also offers a completely new experience: Business Chat, which can be controlled by natural language commands.

The new feature is being made available to 600 customers worldwide as part of the Microsoft 365 Copilot Early Access Program, and only 20 companies have been able to test it so far.

It's been exciting to be part of this defining and groundbreaking moment in AI, working with Microsoft, and seeing how developments like this can change the future of work. Our team at Copilot Teams really enjoyed it. The ability to ask questions during a meeting is fantastic, and the action items list and meeting summaries are very useful features. Although Copilot is still in early development, we're excited to see what's to come!

The Semantic Index for Copilot is a new capability that provides a composite map of user and enterprise data. Semantic Index for Copilot helps Copilot understand the user's intent and find what they need. For example, if we ask: "Where is the March sales report?", it will not only search for documents that have these words in their filename or root.

In Word, Copilot helps you create and correct text. If necessary, Copilot also creates an outline, incorporating information from the whole organisation. Copilot can add content to existing documents, summarize text, and rephrase sections or the entire document to make it more concise. It can also suggest what tone of voice you should use - for example, formal, passionate, relaxed or grateful.

Copilot helps you create and analyse tables and charts in Excel. Copilot automatically fills in the data, calculates the formulas, suggests the best chart type and display. Copilot makes it easy to create complex statements and analyses. For example, you can be asked to "show sales trends by region over the last three years" or "look for the best performing products and teams".

Copilot automatically creates the outline of your presentation in PowerPoint, adds the necessary content and formatting, suggests the best transitions and animations. For example, you can ask it to "make a presentation on the new product strategy" or "add a video of how our product works", on the basis of which Copilot automatically creates the presentation.

AI is not only good for automating work, but also for helping people to be more creative, efficient and confident. Microsoft 365 Copilot opens up a new dimension in work, where AI is not just a tool, but a companion.
