The Windows Copilot is Microsoft's new AI assistant that makes computing easier with Bing Chat and various plug-ins. Windows 11 is the first operating system that will soon offer this service to users. The Windows Copilot will appear in a sidebar on the screen and will always be available to help with tasks, settings and switching between applications.
You can talk to Windows Copilot in natural language and ask for information or help. For example, if we want to travel to Cyprus, we can ask him how long it takes to get there or book flights and accommodation. Windows Copilot will be available from June as a preview of Windows 11.
Microsoft is also developing tools to make it easier to incorporate AI models into Windows applications. The ONNX Runtime and Olive tools will accelerate the running and optimization of AI models on Windows and other platforms. Windows 11 supports the most advanced GPUs and NPUs (neural processing units), which make AI models run even faster and more efficiently.
WhatsApp, Luminar Neo and Camo are applications that take advantage of NPUs. Microsoft encourages developers to use the ONNX Runtime and NPUs to create AI experiences on the Windows platform.
