To use Exchange Server 2019 Standard, you must purchase a server license and a client access license (CAL) for each user or device that accesses Exchange Server 2019.
To use the Exchange Server 2019 User and Device CAL license, you also need an Exchange Server 2019 server license!
To use Exchange Server 2019 Standard, the following minimum system requirements must be met:
- Operating system: Windows Server 2012 or later
- Processor: 1.4 GHz x64 processor or higher
- Memory: at least 8 GB RAM
- Hard disk: at least 300 MB of available disk space
- Internet connection: required for activation and updates
